There is no end to the virtuous cowgirl's talents. With each talent she does the best work that she is able to do. She makes sure her talent is the best she can be. No detail is too small. Everything she does is with a professional flare of a master crafter.
To hone her craft, she works with a mentor who has taught her and continues to challenge her in her craft. She always does the best that she can, and when she learns to do better, she does that. She also knows that her craft is unique and profitable, she never discounts herself or her work.
Because of her talent her works are sought after in the market. The Storekeeper puts in his requests and she makes the products. And her products do not stay on the shelf long.
This is the mindset of the virtuous cowgirl. She does what she does with great talent and shares it with others. She doesn't let anyone discount her products or talents. If someone doesn't appreciate her work, she will take it back home again.
Every year there is a festival called The Art of the Cowgirl. I follow them on Facebook and admire all the talents they have. These are women with great talents and the virtuous cowgirl could give them all a run for their money with her talents. Yet she would also sit with the masters and learn to hone her own talents. She does all of this to benefit her family and to give glory to her Lord.
Each of our #VirtuousCowgirls we mentor have a talent, whether is be artistic, or a trade, or passion; and we encourage each and every one of them to peruse them, and hone them. The Lord never gives us a talent that He doesn't have a purpose for. My collegue, Sheri Dill-Billings, has a tremendous talent for painting. She is constantly sharing it with others by doing guided paintings, Let's Paint The Trails, custom portraits, and more. Her talent is evident everywhere she goes. I greatly admire her talents.
